Another coproduction, this time with the excellent Northern Spark Theatre, who we had previously joined up twice before with Blood Brothers and Brassed Off.
It was quite a personal project for director Scott ,who had such a life long passion for the play, he'd chosen it as the theme to his wedding. He was keen to place it at the height of the "swinging sixties" during the infamous Summer of Love, of which it was coincidentally the 50th anniversary.
The show was blessed with an excellent cast, made up mostly by actors from Brassed Off and Frankenstein which lead to a wonderfully supportive and tight knit cast.
