A satire of Quentin Tarantino's (and his contempories) work and the controversy around Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers - Popcorn was a treat of a show for any movie buff and pop culture lover.

Like Accrington Pals before it, Popcorn was highly praised for its raw and surging central performances.

It was the most "adult" show we'd done at this point with generous helpings of violence and explicit language.  It didn't faze my nan however, whose main criticism didn't concern the swearing or killings. Going down in BMT history, most the cast still remember to this day her comment of "I didn't like it ... Too American".
